Not much, other than that in polynomial long division you use variables and can have a variable and a number while in arithmetic long division you just have numbers

Answer:

The purpose of long division with polynomials is similar to long division with integers; to find whether the divisor is a factor of the dividend and, if not, the remainder after the divisor is factored into the dividend. The primary difference here is that you are now dividing with variables.

GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

The alternative hypothesis is H_1: p > 0.6.

The critical value is Z_c = 1.645

Step-by-step explanation:

It is claimed that proportion in favor of proportion A is greater than 60%.

This means that at the null hypothesis, we test if the proportion is of at most 60%, that is:

H_0: p \leq 0.6

At the alternative hypothesis, we test if the proportion is more than 60%, that is:

H_1: p > 0.6

What is (are) the critical value?

The critical value is the value of Z with a p-value 1 subtracted by the standard significance level of 0.05, since we are testing if the mean is more than a value, so, looking at the z-table, Z_c = 1.645

The formula κ(x)= f′′(x) 1+f′(x)23/2 expresses the curvature of a twice-differentiable plane curve as a function of x. Use thi
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

K(x) =  \frac{-10}{[1 + (-10x)^2]^{\frac{3}{2} } }    ( curvature function)

Step-by-step explanation:

considering the Given function

F(x) = -5x^2

first Determine the value of F'(x)

F'(x) = \frac{d(-5x^2)}{dy}

F'(x) = -10x

next we Determine the value of F"(x)

F"(x) = \frac{d(-10x)}{dy}

F" (x) = -10

To find the curvature function we have to insert the values above into the given formula

K(x)  = \frac{|f"(x)|}{[1 +( f'(x)^2)]^{\frac{3}{2} } }

 K(x) =  \frac{-10}{[1 + (-10x)^2]^{\frac{3}{2} } }    ( curvature function)
