Dominant traits are the the traits you see Recessive traits are traits that are not seen but you still possess and pass on EX. I have blue eyes neither of my parents do but they run in the family my aunt on my dad has blue eyes as well as my grandpa on my mom side I got my blue eyes because my parents carried the gene for blue eyes even tho they did not have blue eyes themselves
