Reproduction is the process by which a new, fertile organism is formed. So to reproduce is to form a new, fertile organism.

Reproduce-produce again.
                 -create something very similar to something else. For example, a director might make a series of TV cartoons, but then recreate, or reproduce them, seven years later.
