Those children who present the signs of a scoliosis in the inspection of the trunk are: asymmetry of height of shoulders, prominence of one of the scapulae and asymmetry of the flank with prominence of one of the iliac rims. To optimize the identification of these aspects, the examination should be done only with underwear.

Match the layer of earth with its characteristics
SVEN [57.7K]
Answer

Lower Mantle-under high pressure and nearly solid.

Lithosphere-contains the crust

Core-creates the Earth’s magnetic field

Asthenosphere-most deformable layer.

Explanation

The mantle is located below the crust and it occupies the largest volume of the Earth’s volume. The mantle behaves like a plastic and at high pressures and temperatures the rocks in the mantle deform

The lithosphere is the outer shell that contains the crust and upper mantle. The lithosphere is divided into the oceanic layer and the continental layer. It is bounded by the atmosphere and the Asthenosphere.

Imagine that a gene on human chromosome 18 can be imprinted in a given pattern in a female parent but not in a male parent. A wo
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

All the children will bear their mother's imprinting pattern but only daughters will then pass it down

Explanation:

The imprinting patterns on the gene only occurs to female parent after each maternal meiosis. It will be maternally inherited that is, it can be passed down from the mother to the offsprings.

Therefore, when the woman gets married and has children, all the children including the males (sons) will bear the imprinting pattern. However , only the females (daughters) will be able to pass it down.

The frequencies of R is 0.75 and the frequencies for R' is 0.25.

Explanation:

Data given:

Genotype frequency of incomplete dominance on flower colour of snapdragon:

RR = red 0.5625

RR' = Pink 0.375

R'R' = 0.0625

frequency of R and R'=?

According to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium the genetic variation in  a given population is constant from one generation to other if no factors causing evolution or genetic drift is there. So,

p^{2} + q^{2}+ 2pq = 1

The p represents = homozygous dominant  RR

q represents = homozygous recessive   R'R'

2pq = frequency of heterpzygous genotype RR'

p^{2} = 0.5625

p = 0.75   (frequency of R)

q^{2} = 0.0625

q = 0.25  (Frequency of R')

Their sum is 1 as according to Hardy Weinberg condition:

p+q = 1
