first all you have to figure out is what x equal so to figure out and solve what x is all you have to do is try to think 42 times what would give you 126 or you could just divide 126÷42 when you do all of that your answer will be 3

You take and divide 126 by 42 and that equals your answer 42x=126 x=3

We can eliminate last 2 choices because the line is clearly a downward sloping line and it's slope wont be positive.
