Answer:

Attachment 1 :-   x = 3/2

Attachment 2 :-  m + r = 154°

Step-by-step explanation:

Attachment 1 :-

9^(^2^-^x^) = 3\\=> 3^2^(^2^-^x^) = 3\\

As the base 3 is same on both the sides , cancel the base 3 from both left & right side of eqn. After that we will get:-

2(2 - x) = 1\\=> 2 - x =\frac{1}{2} \\=> x = 2 - \frac{1}{2} = \frac{3}{2}

Attachment 2 :-

PQR is a straight line . It's given that m + n = 110°

But we know that m + n + r = 180° ..............eqn.1

So substituting the value of m+n in eqn.1 gives :-

m+n+r = 180°

=> r + 110° = 180°

=> r = 180° - 110°

       = 70°

It's also given that n+r = 96°

So putting the value of r in the above gives ,

n+r = 96°

=> n + 70° =96°

=> n = 96° - 70°

        = 26°

Putting the value of n in eqn.1 gives

m + n = 110°

=> m + 26° = 110°

=> m = 110° - 26°

        = 84°

So m + r = 84° + 70° = 154°

there is 4/5 lb of sand in science supplies. if one scoop of sand weighs 1/20 of a lb how many scoops of sand can maria get from
tatuchka [14]
We want to divide whole sand into scoops, so we have to divide 4/5 by 1/20. Lets do this

\frac{ \frac{4}{5} }{ \frac{1}{20} }
We know that if we want to divide 2 fraction we can multiply first by inverse of second fraction instead of dividing.,so:
\frac{ \frac{4}{5} }{ \frac{1}{20} }
\frac{4}{5}* \frac{20}{1}= \frac{4*20}{5*1}   = \frac{80}{5}= 16 scoops - its our result.

Write two equations. the first equation should express the area of the square (a as a function of the length (l of a side. the s
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

a = l²

v = s³

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a rectangle is the product of its length and width. When that rectangle is a square, the length and width are the same. Here, they are given as "l". Then the area of the square is ...

a = l·l = l²

__

The volume of a cuboid is the product of its height and the area of its base. A cube of edge length s has a square base of side length s and a height of s. Then its volume will be ...

v = s·(s²) = s³

The two equations you want are ...

• a = l²

• v = s³
