Hawks & Doves are two-term used in war situations or schemes to classify supporters and opposers. In Vietnam, they were troops on the battlefield, as well as outside the battlefield. But it applied more to troops backing the move, they are called hawks and doves, because hawks hunt to eat, while doves eat mostly fruits and seeds.
