ATP is the primary energy-carrying molecule in the cell. It acts as a rechargeable battery for cellular processes by carrying energy in the terminal bond of the phosphate molecule and returning to recapture energy when it is used. Without ATP, the cell would die.

Firstly, you should know what ATP is.
ATP is Adenosine Triphosphade
ADP is Adenosine Diphosphate
The prefix, tri and di signify the number of phosphate groups attached onto the nucleoside, which in this case is Adenosine.
it's essentially the one that provides energy and stores it for almost all functions within the cell.

Witch to body systems work together to deliver oxygen to cells
mina [271]
This answer is about animals cell. first the deoxygenated blood goes to heart right side. then the heart pump the deoxygenated to lungs where the concentration of oxygen is higher so lungs make the D ox blood oxygenated and then sent again to heart left side which heart pump to deliever to all parts of body.
short cut= lungs and heart make the blood oxygenated.

How do aerobic and anaerobic respiration compare?
lukranit [14]

Answer is D.

Aerobic respiration is a type of respiration in which there is complete oxidation of food in presence of oxygen. Aerobic respiration is occurs in three stages, first is glycolysis which occurs in the cytoplasm and second is Krebs cycle occurs in mitochondrial matrix and third is electron transport system (ETS) occurs in inner membrane of mitochondria. The end products of aerobic respiration are carbon dioxide and water and high amount of energy (38ATP). Aerobic respiration in multicellular organisms such as animals, plants, humans, etc.

Whereas, anaerobic respiration is a type of respiration in which there is incomplete oxidation of food in absence of oxygen. This type of respiration occurs in yeast or muscle cells. Anaerobic respiration is occurs in two stages, first is glycolysis and second is fermentation. The end products of anaerobic respiration are carbon dioxide and ethanol or lactic acid and very small amount of energy (2ATP).
