The answer is cysteine. This is a half essential proteinogenic amino acid with the formulation of HO₂CCHCH₂SH. It is prearranged by the codons UGU and UGC. The thiol side chain in cysteine frequently partakes in enzymatic responses, as a nucleophile.

Answer:

Theoretically, it will result in the formation of cysteine or cys. However, in living cell or practically it may not result in formation of cysteine as translation always begins with the formation of methionine which is coded by AUG (start codon) on mRNA.

If DNA contains ACG as the first triplet, then it will be coded as UGC in the mRNA. UGC codes for cysteine which is a semi-essential amino acid.

On the other hand, if ACT is kept as the first triplet in a DNA sequence, then it will be coded as UGA which is one of the three stop codons (UAA, UGA, and UAG).

Compared to other receptors, what makes steroid hormone receptors unique?
Dafna11 [192]

Answer: b)Steroid hormone receptors are located within the cytoplasm of a cell.

Explanation: Steroid hormones are the element present in the body that provides management in inflammation, metabolism, illness resistant , improves immune function etc. They are obtained from the cholesterol. The particular receptors of the steroid hormone is located at the cytoplasm.

Other options are incorrect because steroid hormone binds the certain receptors only not neurotransmitters .It does not have domain of 20 trans-membrane and is bound to ligand for activation. Thus , the correct option is option(b).

A body cell has been growing and synthesizing proteins. In the nucleus of this body cell, DNA replication is taking place, and a
goblinko [34]

The best conclusion you can make about the life cycle of this cell is that the cell is in the S phase of interphase and will move next to the G2 phase.

S phase (Synthesis Phase) is the phase of the cell cycle in which all of the chromosomes (DNA) are replicated within the nucleus. During this phase, the DNA is effectively doubled as each chromosome contains two sister chromatids. After the S phase, the cell enters the G2 phase where various proteins (such as microtubules) are synthesized.
