The answer is cysteine. This is a half essential proteinogenic amino acid with the formulation of HO₂CCHCH₂SH. It is prearranged by the codons UGU and UGC. The thiol side chain in cysteine frequently partakes in enzymatic responses, as a nucleophile.

Answer:

Theoretically, it will result in the formation of cysteine or cys. However, in living cell or practically it may not result in formation of cysteine as translation always begins with the formation of methionine which is coded by AUG (start codon) on mRNA.

If DNA contains ACG as the first triplet, then it will be coded as UGC in the mRNA. UGC codes for cysteine which is a semi-essential amino acid.

On the other hand, if ACT is kept as the first triplet in a DNA sequence, then it will be coded as UGA which is one of the three stop codons (UAA, UGA, and UAG).

When methane (CH4) combines with oxygen (O2), carbon
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

C. CH4 + 202 – CO2 + 2H20

Explanation:

CH4+O2-CO2+H20

The above equation represents combustion of methane to produce carbon-dioxide and water.

One carbon atom is present on the reactant side as well as on the product side. Four hydrogen atoms are present on the reactant side and two hydrogen atoms on product side. In order to balance this equation, we would multiply water molecule by two. Now there are four atoms of oxygen in the product side but only two on reactant side, so we will multiply oxygen molecule by two on the reactant side. Now the equation is balanced.

The balanced chemical equation is:

CH4+202-CO2+2H2O

This equation obeys the law of conservation of mass as the mass of the reactants is same as that of the products.

When does a dehydration reaction occur
Lerok [7]

Answer: In chemistry, a dehydration reaction is a conversion that involves the loss of water from the reacting molecule or ion. Dehydration reactions are common processes, the reverse of a hydration reaction. Common dehydrating agents used in organic synthesis include sulfuric acid and alumina. Often dehydration reactions are effected with heating.
