On the other hand, buffalo is not of equal value to its human, so Americans became disinterested in breeding buffalo and this led to near extinction in the US.

Buffalo is a herbivorous mammal that belongs to the Bovidae family. It is a large animal that can measure up to 3 m in length and 1.7 m in height. Its weight can reach 900 kg. The African buffalo is wild and native to the savannas of that continent. Although much larger, buffaloes are similar to oxen in appearance. Even similar, buffalo does not have the same economic value as ox, at least in the Americas. This made the breeders disinterested in the buffalo, which led to an almost extinction of the animal on the American continent.
