Interdependence is the dependence on people for knowledge and goods from other parts of the world. Cultural diffusion is the exchange of ideas and information between different cultural groups. Along trade routes like the silk road, many people from different countries and cultures traded their goods, knowledge and cultural ideas, fostering cultural diffusion.
