What statement was of an initial draft of the Declaration of Independence, but not part of the final version

Answer: A statement against the evil of the slave trade.

Details:

In his original draft of the Declaration, Jefferson condemned the slave trade carried on by the British. (Yes, Jefferson himself owned slaves he had inherited, but saw an eventual emancipation of slaves as something that would need to be done over time.) The paragraph in the draft of the Declaration said that the King of England "has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its most sacred rights of life and liberty" by capturing, transporting and selling human beings from the distant land of Africa. He called the "market where men should be bought and sold" an "execrable commerce" carried on by authority of the British crown. ("Execrable" is an adjective related to excrement -- something extremely nasty.)

Georgia and South Carolina would not join in voting for independence from Britain unless the paragraph about the evil of the slave trade was omitted, and so it was omitted from the final version.

The 1839 Treaty of London was a treaty between Great Britain, Austria, France, Prussia, and Russia, on the one part, and The Netherlands, on the other. It derives its significance from Article 7 that leads Britain to protect the neutrality of Belgium in the event of the latter's invasion.

Why did the Populist movement break up after the election of 1896?
klemol [59]
Populism never recovered from the failure of 1896. For example, Tennessee’s Populist Party was demoralized by a diminishing membership, and puzzled and split by the dilemma of whether to fight the state-level enemy (the Democrats) or the national foe (the Republicans and Wall Street). By 1900 the People’s Party of Tennessee was a shadow of what it once was. so the answer maybe D

How did the economies of the North and South after the industrial revolution encourage the idea of sectionalism in the United St
Degger [83]

Answer:

Sectionalism in the United States

Explanation:

Sectionalism in the United States began after the Industrial Revolution. The economy of the country was different based on the geographical conditions. The North was the hub of trading centre and manufacturing goods during the colonial period. Later it rises with small scale industries where artisans showed different skills. The North welcomed the industrial revolution which helped the region to become urban with people moving to towns and cities in search of works. The South on the other hand was geographically good for agriculture. It had fertile soil and a hot climate which helped planters to grow cash crops which benefited them to earn wealth. The South in many ways rejected industries as their economy was based on plantations with the system of slavery.
