It would be the last graph.
The height of the leaf is falling at 0.25 per second, therefore it must reach 1 feet per 4 seconds, and since the intervals on this graph are by two, I would make it 2 feet per 8 seconds to make it easier. If we look on all of the graphs where 8 seconds is, we see on the last graph that it has fallen two feet in eight seconds.

The correct answer is:

The last graph.

Explanation:

The leaf starts at 12 feet above the ground. This eliminates the first and third graph, leaving the second and last.

The leaf falls at 0.25 ft/sec. This means it would take 4 seconds for the leaf to fall 1 foot.

On the second graph, when we go over to 4 seconds and then up, the line is at 10 feet; this means it fell 2 feet in 4 seconds. This is too fast.

On the last graph, going over to 4 seconds and then up, the line is at 11 feet; this means it fell 1 foot in 4 seconds. This is correct.

The area of a rectangular parking lot is 7031m? If the with of the parking lot is 79m, what is its length?
serg [7]
The length of the parking lot is 89m.

To find the length, we can abide by the following formula:

L = A/W

where L is the length, A is the area, and W is the width.

Given this formula, we can set up an equation:

7,031 / 79 = 89

The length of the parking lot is 89 meters.

What is the slope of the line passing through the points (-3, 4) and (2, - 1)?
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

slope = -1 or -x

Step-by-step explanation:

Do y2-y1/x2-x1

Plug in

-1 - 4/ 2 - -3 = -5/5

(Simplify)

-1 so the slope is

-1 or -x

If you want to find the equation use one of the points you have.

4 = -1(-3) + b

4 = 3 + b (subtract 3 on each side)

1 = b

y = -1x + 1 is the equation
