Hi there
First find the growth rate
P=Ae^kt
P 76 million
A 72 million
K ?
T time1,998−1,992=6 years
We need to solve for k
K=(log (p/A)÷log (e))÷t
So
K=(log(76÷72)÷log(e))÷6
K=0.009

Now find population in 2012
P=Ae^kt
Where
P ?
A 72 million
K 0.009
T 2,012−1,992=20 years
So
P=72×e^(0.009×20)
P=86.2 million round your answer to get 86 million

Hope it helps

Step-by-step explanation:

do the exponets first. -6 squared is positive 36 because negative times a negative is a positive.

next you multiply 4 and 7 and get 28

you have 28-36+2 and that equals -5

Bo has $500 in his savings account. He plans to add $150 to his savings account every month. Recently, he purchased a tractor to
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

A. $2,000

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Assuming that the money in the savings account will be used to pay off for tractor.</em>

<em>let the number of months be m</em>

Savings after m months will be 500+ 150m

After m months the installments paid  will 200m

To find the months it will take to pay for the tractor in m months, savings and the installments will be the price of the tractor. As an equation it be represented as below:

500+150m +200m = 4000

150m + 200m = 4000-500  <em>(grouping like terms)</em>

350m = 3500  <em>(Making m the subject of the formula)</em>

350m/350  = 3500/350

m = 10

Substituting m into the equation of saving after m months

<em>Savings after m months will be</em> 500+ 150m

<em>Savings after m months will be</em> 500 + 150(10)

<em>Savings after m months will be</em> 500 + 1500

Savings after m months will be $2000

asambeis [7]

The circumference of the circle is equal to the perimeter of the triangle, then the area of the circle is 12 square units. Option D is correct.

<h3>What is a circle?</h3>

It is a locus of a point drawn equidistant from the center. The distance from the center to the circumference is called the radius of the circle.

A triangle has sides that measure 2 units, 5 units, and 5.39 units.

The circumference of the circle is equal to the perimeter of the triangle. Then the radius of the circle will be

2 \pi r  =  5 + 2 +5.39\\\\r = 1.97

Then the area of the circle will be

\rm Area \ of \ circle  =  \pi r^2\\\\Area \ of \ circle  =  \pi 1.97^2\\\\Area \ of \ circle  =  12.21 \approx 12

The area of the circle is 12 square units.

6) What are ED and FD?
kolezko [41]

Answer:

ED = 12 and FD = 24

Step-by-step explanation:

See the attached diagram.

The perpendicular distance between the three parallel lines are same i.e. AB = BC = 8

Therefore, the parallel lines will divide any transverse line ( say FD ) in 1 : 1 ratio i.e. will divide equally.

Therefore, FE = ED = 12 units.

Again, FD = FE + ED = 12 + 12 = 24 units. (Answer)
