In the political cartoon "The Open Road," we observe the Progressive Party coming forward. In this particular Cartoon, there is a group of people who are moving further for liberty, justice and equality. Such a cartoon expresses the very motive of the Progressive Party. People who are coming towards liberty, justice and equality are mainly workers including men, women and children. This cartoon depicts the urban problems of that time.
The first event that brought Dr Martin Luther King was his 'I have a Dream' Speech. This allowed everyone to see how he was campaigning for Civil rights. His speech was held on 28th august 1963
