While calculating the density of a cork, Harry makes a mistake and measures the mass of the cork to be higher than the actual ma

ss. If he does everything else correctly, how will Harry's incorrect measurement of mass affect his density calculation? (Hint: density = mass/volume) A. His calculated density will be higher than the actual density of the cork. B. His calculated density will be exactly the same as the actual density of the cork. C. His calculated density will be lower than the actual density of the cork. D. His calculated density will be in different units than the actual density of the cork.

Minchanka [31]

Neurons are the main cell of the nervous system which is responsible for communication of organs and control of many bodily functions. Neurons transmit electrochemical signals which are known as neurotransmitters and neuromodulators that act as messengers for sensory input and motor output.
Also, the nervous system is composed of two main branches which are the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system is composed of the brain and spinal cord whereas the peripheral nervous system is composed of the nerves around the body.

You would know a dividing cell was a plant cell rather than an animal cell if you saw that __________.
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

The correct answer - it had formed the cell plate.

Explanation:

The cell plate is formed when vesicles carry phospholipids from the Golgi apparatus that is required to make cell membrane, and sugars are needed to create cell wall are reached to the assembled with the network of spindle fiber of cytoskeleton.

The cell plate makes the middle of the cell when the cell starts to divide. Terrestrial plants and some of the algae form this cell plate which is characteristic in plants and absent in animal cells as they lack cell walls.

Thus, the correct answer is - it had formed the cell plate.

Why do scientists study fossils?
Tasya [4]
Hi,

By studying fossils, scientists can learn how life has changed over time, how earth's surface has changed and what past environments were like. Fossils form when living things die and are buried by sediment; they are usually found in Sedimentary rock. Only the hard parts of organisms generally leave fossils because the soft parts generally decay too quickly to fossilize. In case you didn't know, there are two types of fossils; rock fossils and preserved fossils.

Option c) is the correct option above.

<span>c) Fossils give information about the time period in which organisms lived in the past.

What is the difference in trophic level efficiency between herbivores and Carnivores?
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

Herbivores eat plants who are the major producers of chemical energy in the ecosystem. Plants undergo photosynthesis through sunlight(solar energy) and other compounds such as Carbon dioxide and Water to give Oxygen and Glucose. The herbivores eat the plants directly and are able to utilize a greater percentage of energy. Carnivores eat the herbivores and get energy but in a lesser form compared to the herbivores.

This simply means trophic level efficiency in the ecosystem is higher for herbivores and lower for the carnivores.
