7 and 1/2 inches heres how i got my answer
1st you know that originally theres 3 ft of snow then it says triple that amount so 3x3= 9 so then it says the sun melts 1 1/2 inches so 9-1 in = 8-1/2 in equals 7 and 1/2 inches so
so 7 1/2 in should be correct

15POINTS OR 22 IDK<br> Solve 4(x−9)=4(9+1/3x).
Ksju [112]

Answer:

x = 27

Step-by-step explanation:

4(x−9)=4(9+1/3x).

Divide each side by 4

(x−9)=(9+1/3x)

Subtract 1/3 x from each side

x - 1/3x -9 = 9+1/3x -1/3x

2/3x -9 = 9

Add 9 to each side

2/3x -9+9 = 9+9

2/3x = 18

Multiply each side by 3/2

3/2 * 2/3x = 18*3/2

x = 27

How do I do this problem??
Crank
Expanding 8x^3, we multiply 8*8 and x^3 by x^3 to get 64x^6. Since we know that the cube root of 64 is 4, we can separate that. Next, since you add exponents while multiplying, 6/3 is the exponent for the cube root of x^6=x^2. Therefore, your answer is 4x^2
