You can eliminate A because the New England region didn't have fertile
land to grow crops, that was the southern/middle region.
It's not B because the middle/southern region didn't have too much
trade.
And it's not C because shipbuilding was in the North/New England region
since they had a lot of water (rivers and such.
So that leaves us with D, which makes sense because the North/New
England had fast moving rivers that helped them have a lot of factories
which led to a lot of manufacturing, and people thought they would have a
better life if they came up to the cities and worked in factories,
which didn't work well because of over-crowding and illnesses and such,
so the families that moved had very little income, and they all had to

But in the South, slavery was allowed, they didn't have factories, and
their farms needed a low pay workforce. So what do they do? Ding ding
ding! Slavery's not too expensive on them, so tht seemed to be the
