Answer:

Organelles can be described as structures present in a cell which perform different functions.

Different organelles interact with one another and perform functions.

For example, there are three organelles which are involved in the endomembrane system. The endomembrane system has the function to produce, package and move products out of a cell.

The three organelles of the endomembrane system are Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi- Complex and Vesicles.

The Endoplasmic Reticulum is continuous with the nuclear membrane. mRNA from the nucleus travels via the Endoplasmic Reticulum to the ribosomes where proteins are made. They then move to the Golgi complex where they are modified and packaged. The vesicles transport these proteins out of the cell.

What is typically attached to the acceptor end of a tRNA?
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

The correct answer is b.  an amino acid

Explanation:

A tRNA is called adaptor RNA which have cloverleaf-like secondary structures. These structures contain stems and loops which make up the acceptor arm, anticodon stem and loop, D- stem and loop, and T- stem and loop.

Acceptor arm contains seven base pairs and four single stranded nucleotide which include conserved CCA sequence. The function of acceptor arm is attach amino acids require for  protein synthesis.

The anticodon loop gives information to acceptor to attach a specific amino acid according to the sequence present in mRNA. The first amino acid which attaches to acceptor arm is methionine.

Thus, the correct answer is b. an amino acid.

Frank was bitten by a rattlesnake and received anti-venom containing neutralizing antibodies. Frank received ________ immunity a
ANEK [815]

Frank was bitten by a rattlesnake and given anti-venom containing neutralizing antibodies. Frank will have acquired long-term artificially acquired passive immunity  and active immunity naturally he will have as a result.

<h3>What is active immunity?</h3>

Active immunity occurs when exposure to a diseased organism triggers the immune system to produce antibodies against that disease.

<h3>What is passive immunization?</h3>

Passive immunization occurs when the body already receives the antibodies ready, instead of stimulating their production. The main difference is that, in passive immunization, the body does not produce memory cells, fighting the organisms only once.

With this information, we can conclude that Active immunity is when the individual's own body produces an immune response.
