After The Cold War what happened to the economy

three global transformations are well under way as we enter the 1990s. First, the reforms in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if successful, will end the Cold War and most East-West confrontation, and will allow substantial reductions in military arsenals. Second, the salience of security issues will decline sharply; economics will move much closer to the top of the global agenda. The international position of individual countries will derive increasingly from their economic prowess rather than their military capability. The relative power of the United States-and, even more, of the Soviet Union-will fall; Europe's-and, even more, Japan's-will rise. Third, the world economy will complete its evolution from the American-dominated regime of the first postwar generation to a state of U.S.-European-Japanese "tripolarity." An economically united Europe will be the world's largest market and largest trader. Japan is already the world's largest creditor and the leader in many key technologies. Its GNP will exceed three-quarters of America's by the year 2000 at the growth and exchange rates that now seem likely.

Why was bismarck eager to gain control over the territories of Alsace and Lorraine?
Ray Of Light [21]
One of the main reasons why Bismarck wanted to control the territories of Alsace and Lorraine was mostly because both territories were plentiful and useful territories to have in any country as they were quite developed. It was also good for strategic reasons.

In blank each state is represented according to the size of its population
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

House of Representatives

Explanation:

The U.S. Congress consists of two houses, the House of Representatives and the Senate. Each state elects two senators, while seats in the House of Representatives are apportioned by state according to population, with each state receiving a minimum of one representative. After each decennial census, the House of Representatives used to increase in size, but in the 1910s overall membership was capped at 435 (it expanded temporarily to 437 after Alaska and Hawaii were admitted as states in 1959). Now, after each census, legislative seats are reapportioned, with some states increasing their number of representatives while other states may lose seats.
