Hey there! :)

Before we go right into finding the commonalities of both the fourth and eighth amendment, we must first know what they are!

The fourth amendment states that unreasonable searches through either your home, apartment, buildings, or automobiles are not allowed! Law enforcement and government officials must first obtain a search warrant before doing so. In short - you can't have your things searched through unless the person searching has a search warrant.

The eighth amendment states that government officials and law enforcement cannot force you to pay unreasonably high charges against anything, and cruel/unusual punishments aren't allowed! All fines that need to legally be paid must be fair and at a reasonable price, all charges must be fair, and any punishments must NOT be cruel.

Both of these amendments have to do with criminal law! Criminals usually have to be searched, hence the fourth amendment, and they also receive punishments for what they've done, hence the eighth amendment,

What do you know about hurricanes? You might describe what they look like, the damage they create, or how people prepare for the
Dahasolnce [82]
Hurricanes form over warm waters of the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans. At a fast rate, it can take up to two days for a hurricane to form. Hurricanes are large Storms that can have winds from up to 74 miles per hour. With this much power it can tear apart buildings, homes, and anything else in the presence of it. There is also flooding, which adds another problem for the people witnessing the storm, they may even need to evacuate where they were taking shelter. Allot of people just leave until the hurricane has passed, but few stay, board up their windows, stay inside usually in a basement or closet (its best to stay away from windows or doors), and if flooding occurs they should turn off the electricity breaker.
