Hello!
The thing you have to do here is get the miles per hour, which means we have to multiply the 1/15 by 15 to get 15/15, which is 1.

When you do this, you should also multiply the 3/5 miles by 15, which is 45/5 or 9.

This means the rate is 9 miles per hour

The dog runs 3/5 miles in 1/15 hour - that's 4 mins

To find out how many miles in an hour, simply multiply 3/5 by 15 (to make a whole hour).

3/5 x 15 = 9 miles an hour

Peter used a $5 gift certificate to help pay for his lunch after adding a 15% tip to the cost of his meal Peter still had to pay
kogti [31]
So, because he used a five dollar certificate, the total price of his meal was 7.36. Now we need to find the price of his food. Because he gave the waiters a fifteen percent tip, his meal is 85% of the total cost:
0.85(7.36) = 6.256
We can round up:

P Is inversely proportional to Q.
cluponka [151]
The proportion is 100:32.
You can put this into a fraction 100/32 and conclude that P is 3.3 repeating times larger than Q.
When Q=80, P will be 3.3 times larger than 80.
The answer is P = 266.6 repeating or 266.67.

Answer:

10.429% exceed

Step-by-step explanation:

expected:

150x [100+40]/100=210 parents were expected on first night

210x60/100=126 parents expected on the second night

210+126=326 expected

percentage difference=

210+150=360

360/326 x 100=110,429%

110,429%-100%=10,429% exceed
