Most Northerns were against it, and tried thier best to hide slaves from being caught back into slavery.

<span>Many British ppl didn't support the revolution war Because in Britain we had to pay something like 26 times the amount of tax the colonists had to pay just to help pay for the cost of protecting them. To us Brits the rebels seemed greedy and ungrateful so obviously wouldn't support them.</span><span>
