Right answer:

b. 5

Elena has 5 classes:

 1. Biología (Biology)
 2. Inglés (English)
 3. Arte (Art)
 4. Historia (History)
 5. Matemáticas (Math)

First of all, she has biology at 8:30 a.m. This is an interesting class because her teacher is fun. Afterward she has English, but she doesn't like this class because is difficult. Finally, she has art, history and math in the afternoon. She loves history because this subject is like a book of adventures .

Which verb would you use to explain that the movie is being shown in the theater?
velikii [3]

For this case, what we should do is use the verb to be correctly.

The verb to be has two different meanings in Spanish.

We then have the following cases:

Case 1:

If we want to refer to a place, the correct translation is:

Estar

Case 2:

If we want to refer to a person, the correct translation is:

Ser

For this case we refer to a place, therefore, the correct translation of the verb is:

Estar

The sentence in Spanish is:

La película está en el cine.

Answer:

B. estar

True or False: According to the letter, Billy Jo owes William money.
kakasveta [241]

Answer: False

Explanation:

This question is in relation to the story about detectives Sancho and Bolsa trying to find a man named William Morningstar.

William was not owed money by Billy Jo but William apparently owed Billy Joe some money. This was why Billy Jo hired Sancho and Bolsa to find William in the first place as it was thought that William was hiding so as to raise the money he owed Billy Jo.

explain the endings for all 6 pronoun groups for -ar -er and -ir spanish present tense verb conjugations
emmasim [6.3K]
-ar = -o, -as, -a, -amos, -an, -áis
-er = -o, -es, -e, -emos, -en, -éis
-ir = -o, -es, -e, -imos, -en, -ís

The fastest way I can explain this is that the 1st ending “o” is always for when you’re talking about yourself (yo). The 2nd ending “as” or “es” is when you’re talking to someone else, referring to them as “you” (tú). The third ending “a” or “e” is when you’re talking about someone else using “he” or “she” (él/ella) or when you’re speaking to someone with a formal “you” (usted). The fourth ending is when you’re referring to “we” (nosotros). The fifth ending is for more than one person, “they” or “you all” (ellos/ellas/ustedes). Then lastly the 6th ending is for the other way of saying “you” (vosotros) which is not commonly used in the U.S.

sorry that this was long but I tried to be as clear as I could :)
