What is the maximum profit from one tour?

You MUST show ALL work to earn ANY credit. In your upload, please include and clearly identify the following:

a.) The Objective Function with clear identification as to which variable represents economy seats and which variable represents deluxe seats

b.) The Constraints

c.) A graph of the feasible region with vertices clearly identified

d.) The ordered pair of economy seats and deluxe seats that maximize the profit

The maximum profit for 1 tour would be $2650

if there are 90 seats and 10 deluxe seats must be sold, you have to multiply 10 times 25 which gives you 250.

if there are 90 seats, 10 must be deluxe (which is cheaper), and you are trying to find the max profit for 1 tour, then 80 of the seats must be economy seats.
to find out how much 80 economy seats would cost you need to multiply 80 times 30 which gives you 2400.

then you need to add the profit of 80 economy seats and 10 deluxe seats and that would give you $2650

and $2650 would be the max profit you could make for 1 tour.

at a small school, one male and one female are selected to represent the student body at the PTSCA meetings. if there are 41 mal
I am Lyosha [343]

It is given that there are 41 males and 48 females in the small school.

So, the number of ways a male student can be chosen from 41 males is ^{41}C_1

Likewise, the number of ways a female student can be chosen from 48 females is ^{48}C_1.

Thus, the total number of ways in which 2-person combinations are possible to represent the student body at the PTSAC meetings will be given by:

^{41}C_1\times ^{48}C_1=1968
