Why do you think bread turns moldy less quickly when it is kept in a refrigerator than when it is kept at room temperature
PSYCHO15rus [73]
Hi there!

I think bread turns moldy less quickly when it is kept in a refrigerator than when it is kept at room temperature because bacteria eats foods like bread and causes mold, and less bacteria grow in colder temperatures. Since less types of bacteria thrive in colder temperatures, it takes longer for less bacteria to create mold.

Hope this helps!

Whats the term we use today for mendal factors
Natali [406]

For him they were just discrete physical units of inheritance. Johanson coined the term "gene" and people started calling them genes. Today for us these factors are parts of DNA, the base sequences that carry the biological information to determine a trait. Mendel factors are alleles of genes.

If the hawks are increased in this model, the grass will increase in the food chain.

What is a Food chain?

This is defined as the sequence of transfers of matter and energy in the form of food from one organism to another.

When hawks are increased, the primary consumers will decrease which are the ones who eat the grass. This will therefore lead to an increase in the grass population.
