What happens when two solutions separated by a selectively permeable membrane reach osmotic equilibrium? what happens when two s
liubo4ka [24]
The answer should be water molecules still move between two solution, but no net movement.
Osmotic equilibrium means where two solution has reached the same amount of water potential because of the osmosis before, they have the same solute concentration now.
Always remember that water molecules still move in all solutions, but just that since there's no more concentration difference, the water molecules that move from right to left and left to right is equal. Therefore there's no net movement.

Short Answer: False

Long Answer: Yes, sort of. You do use a scanning microscope to start, as you will want to move the microscope to the correct location before increasing the magnification. However, you wouldn't use the scanning lens to see with high magnification.

A: Is either the very seep region or 2660. There's not enough information to tell which.

B: I take this to be a very steep region. 2750 is above 2500. The lines are very close together, but the general direction is up. The answer can also be 3300.

C: The river flowing east. (and then going south).

D: I don't see anything representing D. D should be coming down from 2500. The consequences of that not being true is that the river will not flow through the line marked 2500.
