Answer: Option A.

Rate of erythrocyte formation.

Explanation:

Blood reticulocytes counts is a test that is done in the hospital to measure the number of red blood cells that is produced by the bone marrow in the blood. This is done by the doctor to know if a person has illness or loss blood. The blood reticulocytes rises if a person have lost so much blood or is affected by certain diseases. It is normal or low if the person is okay. For an healthy person , the normal blood recticulocytes count should be between 0.5-1.5%.

Answer:

a. Rate of erythrocyte formation

Explanation:

Blood reticulocyte count is a type of blood test that gives account of the rate at which the red blood cells is formed by the bone marrow before it is allowed into the blood. This reticulocyte count increases when someone losses blood or when there is a disease infection which leads to the untimely destruction of the red blood cells. The normal range of reticulocyte count is calculated as:

% of reticulocyte ÷total number of RBC multiplied by 100.

For an healthy adult the range is between 0.5 - 1.5%

______ is the process by which nerve cells are coated with far cells that enhances the speed and efficiency of the information t
givi [52]

Answer:

Myelination

Explanation:

The covering of myelin around the axons is called the myelin sheath. This myelin sheath helps in transfer of information faster and also in complex  processes of the brain. The process of myelination begins in the PNS (peripheral nervous system).

The myelinated section are seperated from each other with a gap called nodes of ranvier. Glial cells (oligodendrocytes) forms the myelin sheath in the central nervous system and schwann cells (glial cells) forms the myelin sheath in peripheral nervous system. The propagation of electrical impulse in the myelinated fibers is by saltatory conduction that is from one node to another.
