U use the slope formula
slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

and u label each set of points :
set 1 : (2,-6)...x1 = 2 and y1 = -6
set 2 : (-3,-4)...x2 = -3 and y2 = -4

now u sub...pay attention to ur signs
slope = (-4 - (-6) / (-3 - 2) = (-4 + 6) / -5 = 2/-5 = -2/5

While constructing an equilateral triangle or a regular hexagon inscribed in a circle, you may have noticed that several smaller
Sauron [17]

Answer:

Using the transitive property of geometry, we proved that △PQR is an equilateral triangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram of the given scenario is in the attachment.

Here, PQ is the radius of circle Q

Also, PQ is the radius of circle P

Hence, circle-P and circle-Q have same radii.

Now, PQ=RQ as both are radii of circle Q

And PQ=PR, as both are radii of circle P

Hence as per transitive property, which states that, if any two angles, lines, or shapes are congruent to a third angle, line, or shape respectively, then the first two angles, lines, or shapes are also congruent to the third angle, line, or shape

PR=QR

Now, PQ = QR = PR

Hence, ∆PQR is equilateral.

Arisa [49]

Answer:

Option D

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to be used,

Scale factor = \frac{\text{Dimension of the image rectangle}}{\text{Dimension of the original}}

By this formula,

\frac{7}{2}=\frac{\text{Length of the dilated rectangle}}{\text{Length of the original rectangle}}

\frac{7}{2}=\frac{L}{22}

L = \frac{7\times 22}{2}

  = 77 inches

Similarly, width of the the dilated rectangle = \frac{7}{2}\times 10

                                                                        = 35 inches

Perimeter of the new rectangle = 2(Length + width)

                                                    = 2(77 + 35)

                                                    = 224 inches

Option (D) will be the correct option.
