The bird symbolizes death and rebirth even though its symbolic meaning varies from culture to culture. In addition it can also represent regeneration and mortality. The representation of phoenix is found in ancient Egyptian history though it was called Bennu. Bennu was also mythical.

Most people think this(myself included) Because the Metric unit of measurement is much easier to follow than the English unit of measurement because there aren't many decimals and half number they are whole number that can be added and subtracted easily.
