People of Greece think that their love for athletic differentiate them from non- Greeks, and only they allowed taking part in the games. Body building and exercising was essential on daily basis for the athletes who were going to compete in Olympic Games.

The athletes who won the match was crowned with wrath of wild olive which was picked from the sacred tree from the temple of olive.

People gave so much respect of the winners because they think due to the athlete they got chance to honor Zeus. People made statues of the famous athletes, write congratulating poems. Their victories made them immortals. People of Greece worshiped them who won the games. Greek loves them so much and winners can not dishonor the love because if they did they got punished.
