the mean (average) of the data set below

2/4, 18/5, 28/10, 5/20

We are given with 4 fraction

to find mean , we add all the fractions and divide by 4

Lets add all the fractions

\frac{2}{4} + \frac{18}{5} + \frac{28}{10} + \frac{5}{20}

Make the denominators same

LCM is 20

Try to get 20 in the denominator

\frac{2*5}{4*5} + \frac{18*4}{5*4} + \frac{28*2}{10*2} + \frac{5}{20}

\frac{10}{20} + \frac{72}{20} + \frac{56}{20} + \frac{5}{20}

\frac{143}{20}

Now we divide by 4

\frac{\frac{143}{20}}{4}=\frac{143}{80}=1\frac{63}{80}

Find the area between y = 8 sin ( x ) y=8sin⁡(x) and y = 8 cos ( x ) y=8cos⁡(x) over the interval [ 0 , π ] . [0,π]. (Use decima
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

0.416 au

Step-by-step explanation:

Let y1=8sin(x) and y2=8cos(x), we must find the area between y1 and y2

\int\limits^\pi _0{(8cos(x)-8sin(x))} \, dx = 8\int\limits^\pi _0{(cos(x)-sin(x))} \, dx =\\8(sin(x)+cos(x)) evaluated(0-\pi )=\\8(sin(\pi )-sin(0))+8(cos(\pi )-cos(0))=\\8(0.054-0)+8(0.998-1)=8(0.054)+8(-0.002)=0.432-0.016=0.416

If a translation maps point (3, 2) to (5,3); or T:(3, 2) - (5,3), indicate the image for (2,4)
Zinaida [17]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Note that for (3, 2) → (5, 3)

The x- coordinate of the image is 2 more (+ 2) than the original and the y- coordinate of the image is 1 more (+ 1) than the original, that is

(x, y ) → (x + 2, y + 1 ) ← rule to obtain image, hence

(2, 4 ) → (2 + 2, 4 + 1 ) → (4, 5 ) → A
