For perpendicular the way you find it is by flipping the fraction. and adding a negative. remember that whole number are fractions divided by 1.

so what you would get is

y=5x+a

then we put in the points into our x and y.

2=5(1)+a
now solve

2-5=a

a=-3

Now you will put into standard form

y=5x-3
