  1. Total amount earned from the sale of 45$ reserved seats=  56,250$
  2. Total amount accruing from the sale of 35$ seats= 26,250$
  3. Total seats sold as general = 3000 seats
  4. Total amount accruing from sale of general admission seats= 60,000$
  5. Total amount garnered from sale of all the tickets= 1,42,500$

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of seats available at the auditorium- 5000

A. 25% tickets= reserved seats

Total number of seats= 25*5000/100=1250 tickets

Cost of each seat- 45$

Total amount earned from the sale of reserved seats=  56,250$

B. 15% of the seat reserved at 35$ each

Total number of such seats reserved= 15*5000/100=750 seats

Total amount accruing from the sale of such seats= 26,250$

C. The remainder of the seats were sold as general seats

Total seats sold as general= 5000-(1250+750) = 3000 seats

D. Cost of each general admission= 20$

Total amount accruing from sale of general admission seats= Total seats*price of each

= 3000*20$= 60,000$

E. Total amount garnered from sale of all the tickets= 60,000$ + 56,250$ + 26250$

=1,42,500$

Which expression is equivalent to StartRoot 200 EndRoot?
Verdich [7]

Answer:

b)  √200 = 10√2

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the given expression is: √200

Simplifying the given expression, we get:

200 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5  x 5

⇒ 200  = (2)²  x (5) ²  x 2

Taking ROOT both sides, we get:\sqrt{200}  = \sqrt{(2)^{2}  \times (5)^{2}  \times  2}\\\implies \sqrt{200} = \sqrt{(2)^{2} } \times \sqrt{(5)^{2} } \times  \sqrt{(2) }  = 2 \times 5 \times \sqrt{2}\\ = 10 \sqrt {2}\\\implies \sqrt{200}  =  10 \sqrt {2}

Hence,   √200 = 10√2

Karla has spent $42 on food. She bought milk, cheese, and meat. The milk cost half as much as the cheese and the meat cost four
Alina [70]

M = milk

C= cheese

X=meat

milk = 0.5c

meat = 4c

cheese = 1c

<span>4 +0.5 = 1c  = 5.5c</span>

C= 42/5.5 = 7.64

X = 7.64 x 4 = 30.56

M =7.64 * 0.5 = 4.67

30.56 + 3.82 + 7.64 = approximately $42
