Answer: “Digging” has multiple stanzas of varying length, while Bashō's haiku has only one stanza of three lines.

The structure of these poems is significantly different. Haiku is a Japanese poem that is extremely short. These are often composed of only three lines, and most often seventeen syllables. Traditional haiku talk about nature and the seasons. On the other hand, the poem "Digging" has multiple stanzas, each of varying length.

Answer:

- Listen to others. Don't make others follow you. Everyone has their own strengths.

- Make yourself heard. This might be the complete opposite to the tip I put before, but it's not. Everyone has their own strengths, including you. If you are smart, try to help your friend with their math homework, or if you are athletic, teach your friend football. Little things that make them feel better.

- Know who is your friend. Peer pressure is something that a lot of leaders struggle with. Don't lead your friends astray and don't get led astray by your friends.

- And lastly, Know your leader. Your leaders, parents, teachers, the principal. Remember to always listen to them, cause they have good advice for you.

user100 [1]

Certain models have been designed to explain how we process speech. The blank in the sentence has been filled below:

  • A significant shortcoming of the three cueing systems model, compared to the four-part processing model, is that it obscures the role of phonological processing in word recognition.

The three cueing systems model is thought by language instructors who show that students can understand words better by examining;

  • Their semantics that is meaning of words,
  • Their syntax, and
  • Their grapho-phonics composition which is about visualization.

The four-part processing model is higher as it evaluates, meaning, context, phonology, and orthography. Phonology is not accounted for in the three cueing systems.

                                                                                      April 25, 2021.

The Honorable Minister of Roads and Highways,

Federal Ministry of Roads and Highways,

Federal Secretariat,

Abuja.

    Sir,

DEPLORABLE STATE OF ROADS IN SOUTH-EAST NIGERIA

It is with deep sense of urgency that I write to you regarding the deplorable state of some roads in south-east Nigeria. These roads include; Enugu-PortHarcourt expressway, Akokwa-Uga expressway and Old Umuahia road.

These roads are all strategic to sustainable of trade between south -east Nigeria and other regions of the country. The continuous neglect of these roads have led to a great downturn in the economy of south- east Nigeria.

Secondly, the poor state of these roads have hindered direct foreign investment in south- east Nigeria. Many potential investors do not bring their investments to this region of the country for fear of failure of the business due to poor state of access roads in the region.

Lastly, lack of access roads in this region have greatly enhanced capital flight out of the region. This in turn have fueled unemployment and consequent youth restiveness which currently threatens the peace of this region of the country.

I plead with you sir, to consider us in this region and quickly see to the initiation and completion of maintenance work on these affected express roads that link south- east Nigeria to other regions of the country.

Thanks in anticipation of our positive response.

                                                                                       Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                        Jude Njoku
