What do you do if you mix up your tenses in a sentence
77julia77 [94]

Answer:

There are many ways to go about this. The common tense rule is this: The tenses of verbs in a sentence must be consistent when the actions happen at the same time. When dealing with actions that occur at different points in time, however, we can – and probably should – use multiple tenses in the same sentence.

Hope this helps!!

Mademuasel [1]

The statement that best supports the author;s claim is: "Parents are supportive of public schools adopting school uniforms for several reasons; the most common being affordability." (last option)

In the passage the author claims that "(...) uniforms allow students and their parents to save money (...)". The author explains that parents spend money on uniforms at the beginning of the year, but such investment would be much greater if students had to wear their own clothes to school.
