Answer:

1. Should there be real world consequences for what someone posts on social media? Yes! There should be consequences for many reasons such as: Online bullying, threats, disturbing videos/pictures, etc.

2. Should college athletes be paid to play? No, they should not be played to play becasue at that point in life, their sport is not yet their career.

3. Should America have taxpayer-funded college education? NO!!! If somebody wants to go to college then they should be able to pay for their education or if they were to get a scholarship. It's disrespectful to even think about taking the tax payers money to usefor ypur own good.

4. Should doctors or pharmaceutical companies be held accountable for patients who develop opioid addictions? Yes and No, because it is a choice to make to become addicted, you can control it if you really put your mind to it. Then again, Doctors shouldn't be prescribing addictive drugs in the first pplace (unless th epatient is in extreme conditions)

Explanation:

Hi! So i gave you my opinion on some topics, but I am personally gong to write about the tax payers (question number 3).

Tax payers should NOT be paying for any students college eduaction. The point of going to college is to prepare yourself for the futture and if everything is currently already being paid for, then once the students get out into the real world; they're screwed. Students should not take advantage of other people's money, even if they did have th eoptin to. Tax payers have worked long and hard hours to provide for themselves, not for the students! Once you graduate from college you would feel a lot moreaccomplished knowing tat you paid for your education and not somebody else.

GREYUIT [131]

The evidence in the myths show that the Maori and Haida cultures are more:

A. similar than different because they have important values in common.

The Haida are North-American indigenous people. They have lived off the coast of Canada for thousands of years.

The Maori are indigenous people from New Zealand, the very first inhabitants of the country. Their ancestors were originally from Polynesia.

The myths from both cultures show that, despite belonging to completely different parts of the world, both possess important values in common. After reading about the myths we see that both peoples cherish family, social relationships, emotional and physical needs, determination, among other ideas and values. Let's take determination as an example. In the Maori myth, the characters are persistent in their attempts to separate sky and earth. Likewise, in the Haida myth, Raven does not give up until he receives the box he wants.

In conclusion, the cultures show interesting and important similarities when it comes to their values.

Review paragraphs 9-11 of the speech . (a) How does Wiesel acknowledge and respond to other viewpoints on contemporary political
Zanzabum

After reading Elie Wiesel's acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize, we can say the following about how he acknowledges and responds to other viewpoints:

- Wiesel explains that, as a Jew who survived the Holocaust, causes related to his people will always be a priority to him. However, he acknowledges other issues that are also important to him.

He mentions those issues:

 • the Apartheid.
 • Andrei Sakharov's isolation.
 • Josef Biegun's and Nelson Mandela's imprisonment.
 • Lech Walesa's right to dissent.

He also mentions, among other contemporary conflicts:

 • terrorism
 • hunger
 • injustice
 • political persecution

He responds to those issues with concern and empathy. He also criticizes the indifference that leads to the continuity of those conflicts.

Who was Elie Wiesel?

 • Elie Wiesel (1928-2016) was originally born in Romania. As a Jew, he was persecuted and locked in a concentration camp during the Nazi regime in Germany.
 • In his writings, Wiesel recounts the horrors he lived in the concentration camp.

What was Wiesel's speech about?

 • In 1986, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and, in his speech, he talks of the Jewish plight and how that will always be his priority.
 • However, he does not fail to mention other issues that were going on in the world at the time.
 • Wiesel acknowledges those issues and regards them with concern and empathy. The fact that one cause is dear to his heart does not keep him from looking at others with sorrow.
 • In his speech, Wiesel criticizes the indifference of people and governments. He says that, when one does nothing to help, one is only benefiting the aggressor, not the victim.
