1. The religious art of the Renaissance period showed humanism by depicting saints as regular people that you may have seen at the time, showing them with common clothing and expressing natural facial expressions.

2. Medieval art would usually feature heavenly creatures and religious figures, and were often painted in a situation where they were doing something extraordinary. Unlike medieval art, renaissance art had realism and created a new modern art form by using light, color, and space techniques used b the ancient Greeks and Romans.
