Macbeth's state of mind isn't good at all. First off, he's completely numb from all of the terrible things that have happened, he doesn't feel anything anymore. When he is threatened and when his wife dies - he barely responds. He is completely cold:

"I have almost forgot the taste of fears:
The time has been, my senses would have cool'd
To hear a night-shriek, and my fell of hair
Would at a dismal treatise rouse and stir
As life were in't: I have supp'd full with horrors..."

ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

It depends

Explanation:

It depends on whether the writer enjoyed that song at the time when he/she wrote the lyrics I guess. There needs to be more proof to be sure that it is one, because it is a pretty common saying. I'd say yes or no to be on the safe side no.

Tema [17]

The correct answer is "It shows similarities with Stalin's Great Purge and reveals how dictators use fear to control people".

Stalin used diverse tactics to deceit the people and gain control over his image. Once he got to a position of perceived power, he used the secret police in the same way that Napoleon uses his dogs: to quiet down the opposition with the use of force and fear-spreading. Public displays of violence as a form of punishment result in a society controlled by fear, where everyone behaves according to the imposition of a tyrant or dictator.
