The Mayans lived in a ranimich environment, tropical and with abundant plants and animals and at least locally, at Copan in the onduras they had fertile soil for agriculture. They declined after about the 9th century but the reason why is not known yet. The Pitcairn Islanders on the other hand, the Polynesians were only a handful to start with and had to flee when the limited resources gave out.

What is an argumentative text?

An argumentative text is one that gives the writer the privilege of expressing his opinion on a subject. Next, he or she brings up points to defend their stance.

If there is an opposing side with an opposing opinion, the writer will have to provide reasons that show the unreasonableness of that view. Finally, the writer has to provide a call to action that will move the audience to act on the suggestion that he or she proffers.
