What landforms are created by divergent boundaries

Geography

Answer:

New crust, sometimes islands/mountains

Explanation:

Divergent boundaries are when two tectonic places are moving away from each other. In the current configuration of Earth, that happens in the ocean.

When plates move away from each other, they leave a gap.  That gap is filled with lava that solidifies quickly and forms now crust.  If the ocean floor is relatively shallow, and the lava pressure is big enough, that can lead to the formation of new islands, mountains/volcanoes on top of the gap.  That's basically how the Galapagos islands were created.

From an overall perspective, A would be the best answer. Since the Nile River has always been one of the biggest rivers in history, it would most likely sustain life for the people. As well as the mediterranean, people for thousands of years relied on the Mediterranean Sea for their food and even their transportation.

Which of the following processes takes place in a rising unsaturated air parcel?
mars1129 [50]

Answer:

Adiabatic stability

Explanation:

Adiabatic stability - Adiabatic implies a situation in which the air parcel and the surrounding region do not exchange heat. It will ultimately undergo cooling whenever a parcel of air increases. Latent heat does not release whenever unsaturated air parcel moves in an upward direction.

Cooling will occur quickly as air parcel is unsaturated, the cooling is at a rate of 10 °C / km. This is called the dry adiabatic rate of lapse. Once the parcel of air becomes sufficiently dense it will start sinking.
