Use the 2 points (7,82) and (11,122) and use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 to find the slope. Then use the formula y-y1=m(x-x1) to get the equation.

PLEASE HELP!!
Katena32 [7]
The formula for a regular polygon, which this one is, is A = 1/2 ap where a is the apothem and p is the perimeter.  20.8 * 7 = 145.6 which is the perimeter, so now just multiply by 21.6 and .5.  145.6 * 21.6 * .5 = 1572.48, or B above.

Solve using substitution-2x-y=-9. 5x-2y=18
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
Equation 1)  -2x-y=-9
Equation 2)  5x-2y=18

Multiply all of equation 1 by 2, so that both equations have (2y) in them.

1)  2(-2x-y=-9)

Simplify.

1)  -4x-2y=-18
2)  5x-2y=18

Subtract equations with each other.

-9x=-36

Divide both sides by -9.

x=4

Plug in 4 for (x) into equation 1.

-2x-y=-9

-2(4)-y=-9

Simplify.

-8-y=-9

Add 8 to both sides.

-y=-1

Divide both sides by -1.

y=1

(4, 1)
