X=pounds of apples
y=pounds of peaches.
we suggest this equation:
x+y=165
1.75x+2.5y=337.5
We solve this equation by substitution method:
x=165-y
1.75(165-y)+2.5y=337.5
288.75-1.75y+2.5y=337.5
0.75y=337.5-288.75
0.75y=48.75
y=48.75/0.75=65

x=165-y
x=165-65=100.

She sell 100 pounds of apples and 65 pounds of peaches.

69 pounds of peaches what you do is take 337.50 -165 then you divide that by 2.50 and that gives you 69 pounds

A school survey reported that
kozerog [31]

The probability that the student has  a part-time job, given that they  have a cell phone is 5/8

<h3>What is probability</h3>

Probability is the likelihood or chance that an event will occur.

Given the following parameter:

  • Total student = 80%
  • Part-time jobs = 45%
  • Those with both a cell phone  and a part-time job = 30%

Student will cellphone only = 80 - 30 = 50%

The probability that the student has  a part-time job, given that they  have a cell phone is 50/80 = 5/8

A particle is moving along the parabola x^2=4(y+6). As the particle passes through the point (8,10), the rate of change of its y
Fofino [41]
You'll need to use differentiation (specifically, implicit differentiation) here.

If x^2 = 4(y+6), differentiating both sides with respect to time t produces the following:

2x (dx/dt) = 4([dy/dt])   (note that (d/dt) 6 = 0)

We need to solve for (dx/dt).  Substitute 8 for x (y does not appear in this latest equation, so we do nothing with y=10).  Substitute the given 5 units/sec for dy/dt:

2(8)(dx/dt) = 4(5)(units/sec)

Solving for dx/dt, dx/dt = [20 units/sec]/16, or 5/4 units/sec, or 1.25 units/sec.

HELP ASAP<br> What is the solution to the system of equations?<br> y = x + 3<br><br> y = -x-1
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

(A) Is right

Step-by-step explanation:

y = x + 3 \\ y =  - x - 1 \\ substitute \: y =  - x - 1 \: in \: above \: eq \\ weget \\  - x - 1 =  x + 3 \\ 2x =  - 4\\ x =  - 2 \\  \\

put X= -2. in y = X+3

to get y 's value

Y = -2+3

= 1

therefore, your solution is ( -2,1)
