Can anyone help me paraphrase these two lines from this poem

English

Sure.

I'm a runaway slave. Dogs chase and bite me.
I'm sad and scared. Men with guns shoot at me.
I cut myself on the fence.
I trip on rocks and weeds.
Men on horses chase me.
They yell and hit me.

It is night. I am bleeding. They watch quietly.
I don't hurt anymore. It is ok.
White men take off their masks to watch.
Things are going dark as I die.

Analysis. Although the details of the story are there, the art, the poetry is lost.
Part of the beauty of poetry is leaving it to the reader to understand what the poet is saying without directly saying it.
The paraphrase is simply a story, but the poem is art.

How do you determine if a resource has quality information?
rewona [7]
You can determine if a source has quality information by doing these thing.

You can look at who wrote the information. This can sometimes signal if it has quality. Like if they are a college graduate, and are qualified to know the information.

You can look at what point of view it is written. This can be useful when trying to get a more credible source of information.

You can look at the information and decide if it looks reasonable.

One of my favorite ways is if your looking at a website, by looking at the web address. The more quality information web addresses are .org, .edu, .gov. More of the less reliable web address are .com and wiki.

I hope this helps. Plz mark brainliest if you want.

Answer:

B. Logos.

Explanation:

It is not ethos, since it does not appeal to ethics. The speaker is simply stating that the tradition should continue because it has continued in the past.

It is not pathos, since it does not appeal to the listener's emotions.

It is B. Logos. The speaker tries to use conservative logic to persuade the listener that America is where it is because Thanksgiving has been celebrated over the years.

Hope this helps!
