Explanation:

Nicotine is a drug that stimulates the brain and have a mood-altering effect when taken in the body. It causes the release of dopamine in the brain that brings the feeling of pleasure and happiness in the body.

Nicotine is normally present in tobacco and tobacco products. Initially, nicotine intake improves concentration, reduces stress, reduces anger and improves mood but regular use of nicotine can cause body dependency on nicotine which causes nicotine withdrawal symptoms when the supply of nicotine is blocked or reduced.  

So by releasing chemicals like dopamine from brain nicotine alters how an individual feels.
