Social learning is the term used to describe a situation where an individual learns by observing what other individuals do. In short, it is a learning process established through observation.
This type of learning is very common in the animal kingdom, as for example, animals learn to hunt by watching members of their species hunt, children learn to speak, by watching adults talking. In addition, another great example of social learning is animals wrestling, where younger animals learn to fight by watching their elders.
