It’s a portrait of courage because it shows that even through the most dangerous of times in her life she was able to function, and somewhat carry on. Her and her family had to adjust to survive. Most people today wouldn’t have been able to go through what she and many others went through but it was their only choice if they wanted to live. What through is a great definition of courage and her diary is what paints a picture in our minds of what she really went through.
Life is the flower for which love is the honey. Every flower must grow through dirt. Be like the flower that gives its fragrance to even the hand that crushes it.
