Answer:

a. Citizens of Great Britain

Explanation:

Winston Churchill's speech "We Shall Fight on the Beaches" reiterates the perseverance of the British people in fighting their enemies. He gave this speech in the House of Commons where he encourages the people to keep fighting. He emphasizes the importance of the nation to "never surrender", fighting passionately wherever- in land, seas, beaches, streets, anywhere. His historic speech was a means of urging the British citizens even with the military disasters the country had suffered. They need to keep up the resistance and fight hard to secure the country from a possible Nazi invasion.

TIMED PLEASE HURRY
Triss [41]

Answer:

When they go to bed and what makes them stay up late

Explanation:

She would most likely need to know what time they go to bed because that could be a large factor in when they sleep. If they go to bed at 9 pm, then they wouldn't really benefit from a later sleep because they only get a few hours of sleep even if school started later. Meanwhile students who go to bed later would certainly benefit from the earlier start time.

Also she would need to know why they go to sleep late. For example, homework makes them stay up late because they need to finish their assignments, work on projects, study, etc. Another example is after school activities, students could arrive home late due to sports and have to eat dinner right as they come back, forcing them to do work late at night.

Which of the following is the BEST theme of our text Nectar in a Sieve?

I can already tell you that you can eliminate the first two answers. Out with the old and in with the new and love can overcome all obstacles. I have not read the book, but I read a briefly summary of it online. After all it is about life and struggles. Life, consciousness, existence and finding hope. That's how I know it's D. The struggle to find faith is a difficult one but will ultimately be worth the fight  Hope I helped.
