To counter the removal of A the equilibrium change by shifting toward the left

          explanation

If the reaction is at equilibrium and we alter the condition a new equilibrium state is created

   The removal of A led to the shift of equilibrium toward the left since it led to less molecules in reactant side which favor the backward reaction.( equilibrium shift to the left)

Balance the following chemical equation (which is for this reaction) and list the number of atoms of each element present before
Inga [223]

Answer and explanation;

The balanced chemical equation will be;

NaHCO3 +  CH3COOH = CH3COONa + H2O + CO2

After balancing the chemical equation the number of atoms of each element is the same on the reactants and on the products side.

Sodium atoms - 1

Hydrogen atoms - 5

Carbon atoms - 3

Oxygen atoms - 5

Allicin contains 59.9 g of carbon, 21.7 g of hydrogen, 24.4 g of oxygen, and sulfur. What is the mass percent of sulfur in a 162
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

The molar mass of Allicin is 162 which means that you can just divide 64 by 162 since 64 is the mass of sulfur in 1 mole of Allicin (32×2=64). You should get 0.395 which is 39.5%

Student took 1.52ml of a stock CuSO4 solution, with a given concentration of 3.26mg/ml. He then added water to the solution unti
Bumek [7]

To solve this we use the equation,

M1V1 = M2V2

where M1 is the concentration of the stock solution, V1 is the volume of the stock solution, M2 is the concentration of the new solution and V2 is its volume.

3.26 x 1.52 = 13.26 x M2

M2 = 0.37 mg/mL

How do models help scientists predict the polarity of molecules?
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

Where the greatest electron density is. And isn’t. Look at water. H-O-H.

The oxygen has more electrons, AND 2 lone pairs - the Hydrogens will be partially positive, and so such a way shows the polarity; am arrow with +-> on the Hydrogen area. The “point” will have a negative sign; usually these are drawn as “partially positive” & “partially negative”, but I can’t draw that. Sorry.
