The Eastern Point Lighthouse in Gloucester, Massachusetts was established in 1832 to help fishermen into the harbor. It is still

used today by the Coast Guard. A fisherman along the shore wanted to know how tall it was. He is 6 ft. tall and he measures his shadow to be 1.7 ft. The lighthouse casts a shadow of 10.2 ft., approximately how tall is the Eastern Point Lighthouse?

What is a 15% tip on a meal that costs $25.00
nataly862011 [7]
25.00/ 10= 2.50
 \\ 2.50*1.5= 3.75 \\ 25.00+3.75= 28.75
As you've got 15%, the best thing to do is to find 10%, then multiply it by 1.5. Once you've found the tip, you add this onto the cost of the meal.
Therefore, the total cost of $25 meal with a 15% tip is $28.75
Hope this helps :)

In the figure below, the value of x is:<br> who ever show works gets brainlly
blondinia [14]

Answer:

d)  x  = 72°

Step-by-step explanation:

Corresponding Angles:   The pair of angles formed on the same side of traversal which crosses two parallel lines is called a pair of corresponding angles.

These angles are EQUAL to each other.

Now, here in the given figure:

The two below lines are parallel to each other.

Also, the line crossing it on the right side forms a traversal.

So angle x and angle with 72 degrees form a pair of Corresponding Angles.

⇒ x  = 72°

Hence the measure of angle x  = 72°
